Predictions for Latin America if they should all accept cryptocurrencies as legal tender?

El Salvador recently made the news for accepting Bitcoin as legal tender, and leaders of several other Latin American states have indicated they might follow their example. Do you expect they will?

If so, what would be the effect? Would each Latin American state become more independent and more stable overall? Would this further devalue the US dollar?
