Hello, all. I work at an independent financial institution as a loan officer. I don’t have much data science experience but I do work with it. I have also seen several problems with the data analysis we utilize in our institution.
The main issue we face is that the analyses we have just don’t present a clear guideline. To be sure, the insights we gather can be helpful but we don’t end up making decisions based on the data like we would like to.
I have spoken with some colleagues involved directly in data and have confirmed that one solution would be to broaden the number and range of data sources. But perhaps there are some other general recommendations we should consider? Something that I could do for my department specifically?
Thank you in advance.
